Project Overview Hallmark Consultants was awarded the contract to design and execute the Comprehensive Baseline Study for the “Building Resilient Communities for the Changing Climate (SAMUTTHAN)” Project. The study establishes rigorous quantitative and qualitative baseline indicators across target communities in Karnali Province, benchmarking climate vulnerability, local adaptive capacities, sustainable agriculture, and community resilience mechanisms.

Scope of Work & Key Deliverables

• Baseline Methodology & Tool Design: Formulated mixed-methods research frameworks, household survey tools, Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) tailored to Karnali’s ecological context.

• Field Data Collection & Analytics: Conducting multi-district field surveys across Karnali Province to capture baseline data on socio-economic status, natural resource management, and climate hazard exposure.

• M&E Indicator Benchmarking & Reporting: Establishing verifiable baseline benchmarks, gender and social inclusion (GESI) metrics, and actionable recommendations to guide project implementation and long-term impact tracking.
